From an early age, I felt a calling to the field of medicine. It was the desire to alleviate suffering and bring healing that led me down the path of medical service. I embarked on a journey that would eventually intersect with my passion for helping those struggling with substance abuse.
In 2017, I earned my license as an LCDC (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor). This was a pivotal moment in my life—a transition from traditional medical practice to the specialized field of substance abuse treatment. It marked the beginning of a deeply personal and rewarding chapter in my career. As a counselor, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals and families as they confront the harsh reality of substance abuse. I’ve seen firsthand how this disease affects not only the individual but also their loved ones.
My empathy for the families and sympathy for the patients have guided my approach to treatment. My ultimate goal in every interaction with my clients is to provide them with the tools they need to overcome the grip of addiction. Through one-on-one counseling and group sessions, I’ve witnessed remarkable transformations and victories on the path to recovery. Looking back on my journey, I’m reminded of the resilience of the human spirit and the power of empathy and understanding. Substance abuse may be a formidable adversary, but with the right support and tools, it can be overcome.
My life’s work has been to be a beacon of hope and healing for those who need it most. I am available for in person appointments at our Katy location and for virtual appointments. I work with individuals anywhere in the State of Texas.
